How do young children learn to enjoy math?

With Blueprint Math, early learners are immersed in a storybook environment filled with cartoon characters, memorable songs, captivating storylines, and rich graphics that engage students while teaching them to see how math exists all around their world.

An adaptive, online, early-learning math program, Blueprint Math is intentionally designed to inspire a lifelong love of math. Students who use the software have been shown to achieve more growth than their peers on state standardized assessments, norm tests, and the Singapore Math placement test.

My role in the product development process included:

  • interpreting instructional scripts containing code
  • translating that code into wireframes and layouts that contained correct math content
  • providing creative direction and art specs for a team of illustrators and animators
