How do you teach idioms?

For many English Language Learners, understanding idioms is like cracking a secret code. Idioms provide an important cultural element of the language they are striving to speak fluently.

I explored this colorful and fascinating aspect of language by designing an app to help students increase their language skills as they learn to recognize, understand, and use idioms confidently and correctly.
